Steel rods Lincoln LNT 304LSi, type ER308LSi / W 19 9 LSi, are characterized by minimal carbon content in the alloy, which reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion. This means that there is no need to use additional alloys to stabilize the metal structure. Thanks to a larger amount of silicon, the fluidity of the welding bath and its ability to wet are improved, which translates into smooth, regular-shaped welds. LNT 304LSi rods ensure easier welding and an aesthetic appearance of the weld. The use of rods includes, among others: pipe welding, steel sheet production and ship construction. The welding process requires the use of Ar inert gas (100%) for shielding.
