SuperGlaze TIG 5356 wire, manufactured by Lincoln Electric, is an aluminum-magnesium material intended for welding cast and remelted aluminum alloys, recommended for 5XXX and 6XXX alloys. The rods type is R5356 / S Al 5356 (AlMg5Cr(A). After anodization, the weld obtained using this wire has an almost identical color to the starting material. The wires have clear markings, which makes them easier to identify. It is characterized by high durability. The main applications of SuperGlaze TIG 5356 wires include the construction of architectural structures, armored vehicles and weapons fastening elements. The welding process should be carried out in an atmosphere of inert gas Ar (100%) or in a mixture of argon and helium in the proportion of 0.5% helium and 95% argon. The recommended gas flow is from 14.2 to 23.6 liters per minute.
