SuperGlaze TIG 5356 manufactured by Lincoln Electric is an aluminum-magnesium wire intended for welding cast and remelted aluminum alloys. The rods type is R5356 / S Al 5356 (AlMg5Cr(A). It is recommended for welding 5XXX and 6XXX alloys. After anodizing, the weld made using SuperGlaze TIG 5356 wires achieves an almost identical color to the original material. The wires have clear markings, which makes them easier to identify. This alloy is characterized by high strength. The main applications of SuperGlaze TIG 5356 wires are architectural structures, armored vehicles, and bases for mounting weapons. Welding takes place in an atmosphere of inert gas Ar (100%) or a mixture of argon and helium in the proportion of 0.5% helium and 95% argon. The recommended gas flow is from 14.2 to 23.6 liters per minute.
