SuperGlaze TIG 5356 wire, manufactured by Lincoln Electric, is an aluminum-magnesium material used for welding cast and remelted aluminum alloys. The rods type is R5356 / S Al 5356 (AlMg5Cr(A). It is recommended for 5XXX and 6XXX alloys. After anodization, the weld obtained using this wire has an almost identical color to the starting material. The wires have clear markings, which makes them easier to recognize. This alloy is characterized by high strength. The main applications of SuperGlaze TIG 5356 wires are the construction of architectural structures, armored vehicles and weapons mounting elements. The welding process should take place in an atmosphere of inert gas Ar (100%) or a mixture of argon and helium in the proportion of 0.5% helium and 95% argon. The recommended gas flow is from 14.2 to 23.6 liters per minute.
