Lincoln LNT 304L steel welding rods, ER308L / W 19 9 L type, feature a very low carbon content in the alloy, which reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion by eliminating the need for stabilizing alloy additives. The weld metal is highly resistant to intergranular corrosion even at temperatures up to 300 ºC. LNT 304L rods have excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, which makes them suitable for use, among others: in pipe welding, in the petrochemical industry and in nuclear power plants. The welding process is carried out using a wire shielded by inert argon gas (100%).
