Lincoln LNT 304L steel rods, type Er308L / W19 9 L, have a very low carbon content in the weld metal, which reduces the risk of intergranular corrosion, thus eliminating the need to use alloy additives that stabilize the metal structure. The weld metal is highly resistant to intergranular corrosion in contact with liquids up to a temperature of 300 ºC. LNT 304L rods have excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. They can be used min. in pipe welding, petrochemicals and nuclear power plants. Welding takes place in the inert gas shield Ar (100%).
