Lincoln SuperGlaze TIG 5183 aluminum rods are ideal for applications where greater strength is required. The rods type is R5183 / S Al 5183 (AlMg4.5Mn0.7(A)). They are intended for welding alloys 5083 and 5456. They are resistant to corrosion. SuperGlaze TIG 5183 rods are perfect for the shipbuilding industry, shipbuilding, tanks operating at low temperatures, bicycle frames and the railway industry. Welding takes place in a shield of inert gas Ar (100%) or Ar+ 0,5-95% He. The flow is 14.2-23.6 l/min.
