SUPRANOX 316L is a rutile coated MMA electrode for welding similar austenitic Cr-Ni-Mo steels. The weld metal transfer is in fine droplets and nearly spatter free, depositing finely rippled concave fillet welds with an outstanding weld bead aspect and generally self-releasing slag. Good striking and restriking. Under wet corrosive conditions suitable for operating temperatures <400°C. One package contains approximately 250 pieces. The weight of the package is 1.8 kg.
