Lincoln SuperGlaze MIG 4043 welding wire is dedicated to welding alloys, especially those that are subjected to high temperatures, especially alloys from the 6XXX series. The wire type is ER4043 / S Al 4043A (AlSi5). Thanks to its properties, it enables smooth and effective welding at lower temperatures than when using steel from the 5XXX series. Additionally, it is characterized by a low tendency to crack when joining 6XXX series alloys. It is an excellent choice for welding both 6XXX alloys and casting materials. In addition, it works great in welding car components, such as frames or drive shafts, as well as in welding bicycle frames. The wire welding process takes place in an atmosphere of inert gases, such as argon (100%) or a mixture of argon and helium ranging from 0.5 to 95%. It is also important to maintain the appropriate gas flow, which should be between 14.2 and 23.6 liters per minute.
