The Oerlikon CITOWAVE III 420 W is a modern, multifunctional modular inverter device designed for professional and demanding applications. It can weld all types of steel and non-ferrous metals. Additionally, it allows MMA, TIG Lift, and gouging welding methods. The power source features a large color display (menu also in Polish) that facilitates control and parameter settings. The set includes a 4-roller feeder. It has a compact size, metal housing, and the ability to change parameters from the feeder. Cables connecting the feeder to the source can be up to 50 meters long. The device can be connected to a generator.
For MIG/MAG, the following welding processes are available: Short Arc, Spray Arc, SpeedShort Arc – SSATM, Standard Pulse, ColdDoublePulse, SoftSilencePlusTM Quiet Pulse, Spray ModalTM, ASQ Sequential System, High Penetration Speed HPS, and Brazing. The device comes with over 200 pre-installed synergic lines and allows for the creation of 50 custom ones.
CITOWAVE III allows the creation of up to 20 different user profiles with access rights at 3 levels: Administrator, Technician, Welder. Each profile can have individual access rights, password protection, data monitoring filtered by user, welding restrictions, and process control to ensure proper welding - detecting welding defects and ensuring compliance with guidelines.
The available USB port allows for easy and quick software updates. It also allows the creation of full copies of your synergic lines and uploading them to another device. The USB port facilitates the control process. Welding data (voltage, current, wire feed speed) can be tracked.
