The Ideal Expert TIG 320 AC/DC is a portable power source based on IGBT technology. It enables welding using TIG, TIG PULSE with alternating current (AC), direct current (DC), and MMA welding with direct current (DC). Due to its compact size and weight, the welder is suitable for both workshop and field work. The device allows for welding at 250 A with a 100% duty cycle and at 320 A with a 60% duty cycle. The machine is built to protection class IP23. The weight of the welder is 31 kg and its dimensions are 740 x 280 x 460 mm.

The welder supports the following welding modes: TIG DC, TIG DC PULSE, TIG AC, TIG AC PULSE, MMA AC, MMA DC.

The TIG DC and TIG DC PULSE modes are used for welding stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels, copper, and titanium. Meanwhile, the TIG AC and TIG AC PULSE modes enable welding of aluminum and its alloys, as well as brass.

With the TIG 2-LEVEL function (2-level current adjustment), the equipment allows switching between a higher and lower current level by pressing a button on the welding torch without interrupting the work. This function is useful for continuous seams on materials of varying thickness, as well as when there is a need to increase or decrease the welding current without extinguishing the arc. It is also beneficial, for example, when welding aluminum for better temperature control of the material.

The TIG SPOT function enables tacking of thin materials.

By adjusting the parameters of TIG pulse welding, users can shape the weld and regulate the arc. Pulsed welding reduces the amount of heat delivered to the material and is effective for joining thin materials.

Ignition occurs both in the contactless mode (HF) and contact mode (LIFT). The contact ignition function is used during welding in environments with a high risk of electromagnetic interference affecting the surroundings.

Users can choose to operate in 2-tact or 4-tact modes, both in contact and contactless modes.

The device features a clear and user-friendly digital control panel, allowing precise adjustment of the welder and ensuring stable parameters and high-quality welding. Additionally, the welder is equipped with a JOB function that includes 9 user program memory slots.

The digital display allows the adjustment of parameters such as: initial gas flow, initial current, current rise time, welding current, base current, current fall time, final current, final gas flow, pulse duration, pulse frequency, AC balance, AC frequency, HOT START, and ARC FORCE.

The welder also offers several advantages and features such as:

IGBT: The device uses modern transistors that ensure minimal electromagnetic interference and low power losses. They also enhance efficiency and prolong the welder's reliability.

2T/4T: The 2-stroke mode is best suited for shorter welds, while the 4-stroke mode is ideal for longer welds.

HF IGNITION: Contactless arc ignition with torch control via a button.

PULSE: A function that improves control over the welding process and weld quality. It is particularly useful in forced positions, reducing spatter and minimizing heat input, which is highly effective for thinner materials as well as those with higher thermal conductivity, such as aluminum alloys.

PRE GAS and POST GAS: Functions useful for protecting the weld pool from oxidation, which can occur without additional gas shielding.

HOT START: A function that facilitates electrode ignition by providing a higher welding current at each arc initiation.

ANTI-STICK: An anti-stick function that automatically turns off the welding voltage if the electrode sticks to the workpiece, helping to detach it and preventing accidental arc formation.

ARC FORCE: A function that regulates short-circuit current, aiding in the transfer of molten electrode droplets to the weld material, preventing the arc from extinguishing when the droplet contacts the weld pool.

FAN STOP: A function that increases the fan speed at the beginning of operation and during heating, and decreases the speed when the welder is cooled.

From the control panel, users can choose the shape of the AC voltage waveform: triangular, rectangular, or sinusoidal.

The welder is equipped with a cooler that significantly increases its performance and protects the torch from overheating. The welding trolley provides convenient transport and high mobility of the device. The chassis includes an option for mounting a gas bottle.

A quick-connect gas fitting ensures immediate connection of the welding torch without the use of tools. Additionally, the welder is equipped with overload protection, ensuring its reliability.

The power source supports the connection of wireless remote control and a remote foot pedal for controlling the welding current and facilitating the operation of the welding equipment.

The device is powered by a three-phase network 3 x 400 V and does not come with a power plug.

Warranty: 12 months for professional use. Warranty service is provided in a door-to-door system with no transportation costs to the customer.
