The Ideal Expert TIG 300 DC is a portable power source built on IGBT technology. It allows for TIG and TIG PULSE welding, as well as MMA welding with direct current (DC). The welder is designed for industrial use. The equipment allows welding with a current of 300 A at a 60% duty cycle. The machine is constructed to protection class IP21. The device weighs 19,7 kg and its dimensions are 520 x 240 x 410 mm.

With TIG DC and TIG DC PULSE functions, the equipment enables welding of stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels, as well as copper and titanium. The welding process takes place under an inert gas shield.

The TIG DC PULSE parameter adjustment function helps shape the weld and focus the arc. It also reduces the amount of heat delivered to the material and is useful for welding thin materials.

The device allows for arc ignition in both contactless (HF) and contact (LIFT) modes. LIFT arc ignition is useful, among other things, in environments with a high risk of electromagnetic interference affecting the surroundings.

The TIG torch provides the option to work in either 2-tact or 4-tact modes (for longer welds) in both contact and contactless ignition modes.

The welder features a clear and user-friendly digital control panel that allows precise adjustment of the device, as well as stable parameters and high-quality welding.

Digital display allows adjustment of parameters such as: initial shielding gas flow, initial current, current rise time, welding current, base current, current fall time, final current, final shielding gas flow, pulse length, pulse frequency, intermittent welding length, HOT START, ARC FORCE.

The device also has a number of advantages and functions such as:

IGBT - modern bipolar transistors that guarantee minimal electromagnetic interference and low power loss. They also increase efficiency and extend the reliability of the welder. They provide high switching frequency, which instantly adjusts the current to changes in parameters during welding.

2T/4T - the 2T mode is best suited for shorter welds, while the 4T mode is used for longer welds.

HF IGNITION - NON-CONTACT ARC IGNITION - controls the welding torch via a button.

POST GAS - causes the flow of gas after welding, protecting the weld pool from the harmful effects of atmospheric air.

PRE GAS - causes gas flow before the arc ignition. This protects the weld pool from the harmful effects of atmospheric air.

PULSE - a function that ensures better transfer of filler material to the welded material. This improves control over the welding process and the quality of the weld. Pulsed current allows for a weld with a fine-grained structure and resistance to hot cracks. The PULSE function can be used in all positions, and is particularly useful in forced positions. It reduces spatter and ensures less heat impact, which is particularly useful for thinner materials and those with high thermal conductivity, such as aluminum alloys.

CURRENT RAMP - a function that gradually increases the welding current from the initial value to the base value. This reduces the risk of initial spatter, which minimizes the risk of burning through the welded material. Additionally, in TIG welding, it reduces the consumption of tungsten electrodes and the torch.

CURRENT FALL / ARC EXTINGUISHING - a function that allows slower cooling of the weld pool and better filling with filler material. It reduces the current from the base value to the set final value, thus reducing the risk of weld crater formation—a defect that increases the risk of weld cracking.

OVERLOAD PROTECTOR - a safeguard against overheating the welder, extending its lifespan.

HOT START (hot start adjustment) - a function that facilitates electrode ignition by providing higher welding current with each arc ignition.

ANTI-STICK (anti-sticking function) - automatically turns off the welding voltage if the electrode sticks to the work material, making it easier to detach and preventing accidental formation of the welding arc.

ARC FORCE (short-circuit current adjustment function) - facilitates the transfer of molten electrode droplets to the welded material, preventing arc extinction when the electrode droplet contacts the weld pool.

The Ideal Expert TIG 300 DC welder is equipped with a TIG SR 26 torch with a length of 4m.

The welder features a cooling system based on a fan, ensuring high efficiency. The device also has a quick-connect gas fitting for immediate disconnection and reconnection of the welding torch. The power source is also equipped with overload protection. The device allows for wireless remote adjustment as well as wireless foot control.

The power supply is through a three-phase 400V network.

The welder is equipped with a power plug. The device has a 12-month warranty for professional use. Warranty service is provided in a door-to-door system with no transport costs to the customer.
