Ideal Expert TIG 200 DC PULSE is a portable power source based on IGBT technology. It allows for TIG and TIG PULSE welding, as well as MMA welding with direct current (DC). Thanks to its compact size and weight, the welder is perfect for both workshop and field work. The equipment allows for welding with a current of 200 A at a 35% duty cycle, 155 A at a 60% duty cycle, and 120 A at a 100% duty cycle. The machine is constructed with an IP23 protection rating. The welder weighs 7 kg and its dimensions are 420 x 150 x 290 mm.
The device, with TIG DC and TIG DC PULSE functions, enables welding of stainless steel, carbon and low-alloy steels, as well as copper and titanium. It uses an inert gas shield for welding.
Adjusting the TIG DC PULSE welding parameters facilitates shaping the weld and focusing the arc. Pulsed welding reduces the amount of heat delivered to the material and is particularly effective for welding thin materials.
The welder allows arc ignition in both non-contact (HF) and contact (LIFT) modes. Contact arc ignition is useful, among other things, in environments with a high risk of electromagnetic interference.
The TIG torch enables operation in 2T or 4T mode (for long welds) for both contact and non-contact ignition.
The device features a clear and user-friendly digital control panel, allowing precise adjustment of the machine, as well as stable parameters and high-quality welding.
The digital display allows for the adjustment of parameters such as: initial shielding gas flow, initial current, current rise time, welding current, base current, current drop time, final current, final shielding gas flow, pulse length, pulse frequency, interrupted welding length, HOT START, ARC FORCE.
In addition, the device features several advantages and functions that facilitate welding, such as:
IGBT - Modern transistors that guarantee minimal electromagnetic interference and low power losses in basic circuits, which increases the efficiency and reliability of the device.
PULS - A function that improves weld quality regardless of position. During welding, the current is generated in two types: base and pulsed.
POINT - A function used for performing various spot welds with adjustable welding time. It is primarily used for joining overlapping sheets or for preliminary joining of structures.
2T/4T - Two-tact mode is used for shorter welds, while four-tact mode is used for longer welds.
ARC FORCE (Arc Force Adjustment) - A function that facilitates the transfer of molten electrode droplets to the work material, preventing the arc from extinguishing when the droplet contacts the weld pool.
HOT START (Hot Start Adjustment) - Facilitates electrode ignition by providing higher welding current at each arc initiation.
ANTI STICK (Anti-Stick Function) - Automatically disconnects the welding voltage if the electrode sticks to the work material, making it easier to detach and preventing accidental arc formation.
VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) - Reduces the idle voltage on the electrode to a safe level. Ensures electrical safety during work in damp environments.
The IdealExpert TIG 200 DC is equipped with a TIG SR 26 torch with a 4m length. It features high current capacity, ensuring durability in long cycles. The torch also has remote control in the handle, which significantly facilitates work and allows for current adjustment during welding. The leather sleeve on the torch greatly extends its lifespan and provides comfortable use.
The welder has a cooling system based on a fan, ensuring high efficiency. The device also features a quick-connect gas connection for immediate disconnection and reconnection of the welding torch. The power source is also equipped with overload protection. The device offers the possibility of wireless remote control as well as wireless foot control.
Power is supplied via a single-phase 230 V network with a standard power plug.
