Weicon Rust Converter 400ml

Rust Converter effectively neutralizes rust on cast iron and steel surfaces. Protects against corrosion in outdoor and indoor applications. The agent is based on epoxy resin and reacts with the rust layer to produce a metal-organic iron complex. This bond is stabilized with a special epoxy resin, protecting the metals against external influences. The black coating resulting from the application constitutes a base layer and is a good primer before further application of solid coatings. The product protects against corrosion, has excellent penetrating properties and high light impermeability. In addition to resistance to temperatures up to +80°C (less than 15 minutes up to +160°C), the coating is also highly resistant to weather conditions, UV radiation and solvents. Weicon Rust Converter is odorless and does not contain heavy metals or mineral acids. The agent can be used on all surfaces covered with rust, e.g. in industrial machines, agricultural equipment or motor vehicles, as well as as a protective coating against corrosion.
