A ProTig 225P AC/DC is a modern inverter welding machine that allows for TIG AC/DC and MMA AC/DC welding with a current range of 10 - 200A. The power supply operates via a single-phase 230V network. The device dimensions are 605 x 215 x 410 mm, and its weight is 16 kg. The duty cycle of the device is 60%. The technologies implemented in the device enable advanced TIG AC and TIG DC welding, with the option to choose the arc ignition method as either HF (non-contact) or Lift (contact).
Additionally, the welder is equipped for pulsed arc welding, making it ideal for welding thin sheets and aluminum. The welder also features the ability to connect to a remote control pilot, which operates up to a distance of 100 m.
The machine has features that enhance TIG welding:
AC Waveform Shape Selection: The device offers three AC waveform shapes—rectangular, triangular, and sinusoidal—to achieve better welding parameters for specific materials. The rectangular shape (SQUARE) is recommended for aluminum with magnesium, the triangular shape (TRIANGLE) is suggested for thin materials including anodized aluminum, and the sinusoidal shape (SINUS) is recommended for pure aluminum.
2T/4T Modes: In 2T mode, welding starts when the button is pressed and stops when the button is released. In 4T mode, welding starts and stops with a double press of the button.
Adjustable Parameters: The device allows adjustments for balance, current frequency, pulse frequency, pulse width, pulse current, and rise and fall times of the current.
Spot Welding (SPOT): The machine automatically controls the duration of spot welds and the intervals between welds until the button is released, enabling a series of welds without continuously pressing the button.
The ProTIG 225P AC/DC also allows MMA AC and MMA DC welding, supported by the following features:
Arc Force: This function enhances the stability of short arc welding and prevents electrode "sticking." When metal droplets separate from the electrode, the current is automatically increased to an appropriate level.
Hot Start: This feature ensures high-quality ignition at the start of welding—during arc ignition, the welding current briefly increases from the working level to the optimal level. The device includes 10 memory channels for saving and quickly recalling frequently used settings.
The welder has a modern appearance, a compact size, and an LCD functional panel, making it one of the best in its class on the market.
TIG Torch
The Spartus Pro series torches are designed to offer exceptional ergonomics during use and handle extreme loads. The Pro series torches are exceptionally durable, lightweight, and flexible, ideal for industrial use. The Spartus TIG SPP 17 torch is gas-cooled, has a 4-meter cable, and accommodates electrodes with a diameter of Ø: 0.5 - 3.2 mm. The gas flow rate is 7 - 15 l/min, with a maximum load of 150A for DC and 115A for AC.
