The Spartus Easy TIG 203P DC is a user-friendly and lightweight inverter welding machine that allows for TIG Lift/HF and MMA welding methods. The device is built using modern IGBT technology. It operates on a single-phase 230V power supply. The power source allows for welding with a current of 5-200A, which enables achieving 5mm penetration and welding materials up to 10mm thick. The duty cycle of the device is 60%. Its compact dimensions of 420 x 135 x 240 mm and weight of 7.9 kg make it ideal for fieldwork. Despite its simple construction, the equipment is equipped with advanced features that facilitate TIG welding. The device allows full adjustment of:
- Pre Gas and Post Gas: The time for gas flow before and after welding – these functions are helpful for shielding the weld pool. Lack of additional shielding can result in oxidation of the weld.
- Up-slope and Down-slope time: The time for current increase and decrease.
Additionally, the built-in pulse welding function with a frequency range of 0.5 – 200Hz allows adjustment of: base current, pulse current, and pulse frequency. These parameters make the device ideal for joining thin materials.
Depending on the welder's preferences, the equipment can operate in 2T and 4T modes.
The MMA welding process up to 200A is supported by features such as:
Arc Force: This function enhances stability in short arc welding and prevents electrode sticking. When a metal droplet detaches from the electrode, the current is automatically increased to a certain level using a switch. By reducing the arc force, energy consumption from a weak network can be reduced, or by increasing it in a strong network, the stability of the arc is improved.
Hot Start: Ensures high quality at the beginning of welding and excellent ignition – during arc initiation, the working welding current briefly increases from the set working level to the optimal level.
Due to its small size and weight, the EasyTIG 203P DC performs exceptionally well in fieldwork.
TIG torch
Spartus Easy series torches offer an excellent combination of quality and simplicity at an extremely low price. They are designed primarily for ease of use and comfort during operation. Thanks to the lightweight and flexible cable package and ergonomic handle, Easy series torches provide considerable comfort during use. The torch has a capacity of 150A for DC and 115A for AC at a 60% duty cycle. Cooling is done by gas. The torch allows welding with electrodes of Ø 0.5 - 3.2 mm. The gas flow rate is 7 - 15 l/min.
