The SPARTUS MasterMIG 250PFC welder is a portable, professional and multi-processor welding machine. The device allows for welding using MIG/MAG, TIG and MMA methods. The maximum welding current is 250A. The power supply is provided by a single-phase 230V network. The weight of the device is 25 kg, and the dimensions are 620 × 240 × 450 mm. The duty cycle of the welder is 60%.

The device was made using modern technologies such as: inverter technology, IGBT transistors, MCU controller, PWM technology and PFC filter. These solutions guarantee stable output parameters, which directly translates into excellent arc characteristics and the quality of the welded joint.

The power source has a number of functions that support the MIG/MAG welding process (20 synergistic programs, including Wave Control, Burn Back, Slow Feed). Small, compact dimensions, special device design, and a high degree of housing protection ensure high resistance to moisture, salty environments, and corrosion. This makes this equipment ideal for use in the shipbuilding industry and field work, among others.

The welder also has functions supporting TIG welding processes (two-stroke and four-stroke, current fall time adjustment, post gas) as well as MMA (Hot Start, Arc Force, VRD). The device is equipped with a color and intuitive LCD display with a resolution of 480x320. The interface has several language versions of the control software.

The equipment is also equipped with a professional four-roll welding wire feeder, thanks to which it is possible to work with a long welding handle regardless of the type of wire used. The device is compatible with standard spools of welding wire D200 and D300 weighing up to 15 kg.

Main advantages of the welding source:

IGBT – these are modern bipolar transistors that guarantee the least amount of electromagnetic interference and also small water losses. They also increase the efficiency and extend the reliability of the welder. They also provide high switching frequency, allowing for immediate adjustment of the current to changes during welding.

2T/4T – Two-stroke works best for short welds, while four-stroke is most often used for longer welds.

Full Synergy - facilitates the selection of parameters in the welding process. Thanks to the programmed data, the welder automatically selects the wire feed speed to the welding current.

Braze welding – a method similar to MIG/MAG welding. The biggest difference is the supplied energy, which is much smaller. Braze welding works best in joining thin sheets covered with a layer of zinc. In the above method, only the solder melts, not the processed material.

Hot Start - This function momentarily increases the welding current above the set value at the moment of arc ignition, thereby preventing the electrode from "sticking" in the initial phase of welding. In the case of thin elements, it is recommended to turn this function off.

Arc Force - This function is used to improve the stability of the welding arc and to prevent the electrode from "sticking".

FLUX - is arc welding with flux cored wire that does not require the use of a gas cylinder. The self-shielding wire is filled with a flux or chemical that produces gases during welding.

VRD - no-load voltage reduction. Immediately after welding is completed, the coated electrode voltage drops to a safe level.

Burn Back - prevents the wire from melting to the contact tip. Allows the wire to be pulled out momentarily after welding is completed.

Slow Feed (wire approach) - this is the adjustment of the wire approach speed, which guarantees stable arc ignition, especially in the case of high feed speed. It reduces the risk of welding defects and spatter at the beginning of the weld.

Spool Gun - is a welding torch with a built-in wire feeder. It works best in car workshops and when welding thin sheets as well as in hard-to-reach places. The wire spool is placed in the handle of the torch. The torch is equipped with a EURO connector and a control plug.

Pre Gas - gas flow before arc ignition, which protects the weld pool from the harmful effects of atmospheric air and also pre-cleans the welded material.

Post Gaz – gas flow after welding. This function protects the weld pool from the harmful effects of atmospheric air.

The "3 in 1" device - an inverter power source that effectively combines several welding methods. MIG/MAG, i.e. welding with inert and active gas as well as welding with a coated MMA electrode. In addition, the welder allows the use of a TIG torch with a valve and welding using the Lift method with touch arc ignition.

4-roller feeder – professional feeder made of pressure die-cast aluminum. It has 4 rollers driven by gears. It was designed to work under heavy load.

The SPARTUS MasterMIG 250PFC welding machine can be used, among others, in workshop work, field repair work, the production sector and light industry.
