Inverter welder TIG DC SERVITIG 220 HF

The SERVITIG T 220 HF is an inverter welding machine designed for MMA and TIG DC welding methods. The welder is produced by the European company Servitech, which specializes in the latest technologies used in welding. The machine features 35-50 mm connectors and is powered by a single-phase 230V supply. Its weight is 14 kg, making it easy to transport and very compact. The device provides a current of 250A with a 25% duty cycle for TIG DC mode and 200A with a 35% duty cycle for MMA (stick) welding. Additionally, it allows for saving 20 welding programs, enabling easy recall of previously used parameters. The SERVITIG T 220 HF also supports remote control connection (e.g., a remote control) and is equipped with a digital display, ensuring intuitive and easy operation.

The SERVITIG T 220 HF uses PWM technology, which ensures efficient operation of the machine and increases the amount of electrical energy used during the welding process. The device is also built with IGBT transistors, which significantly reduce electromagnetic interference and minimize power loss, thereby increasing the machine's efficiency. The additional VRD function reduces no-load voltage, ensuring work safety and energy savings. Additionally, the available “gas test” option in the menu allows the inverter to check the flow of gas lines. The TIG DC source SERVITIG T 220 HF is built to IP22S protection class and complies with the IP EN60974-1 standard.

MMA MODE

In MMA (stick) mode, the device allows for arc ignition using high frequency HF, known as HF Start. Functions available in this mode include: Hot Start, which is helpful at the beginning of welding during arc ignition, and Arc Force, which prevents electrode sticking to the material and allows for smooth adjustment of arc power in the event of excessive voltage drop. The Arc Force function is useful in applications that require welding with a very short arc. In MMA mode, it is also possible to weld with rutile and basic electrodes.

TIG DC MODE

The SERVITIG T 220 HF also allows operation in TIG DC mode. Welding with this method is possible with a current range of 5A-220A. The welder offers the option of arc ignition through scratching TIG Lift or high frequency HF. Each of these ignition methods can be used both in 2-tact mode (2T HF / 2T Lift) and 4-tact mode (4T HF / 4T Lift). The user also has the option to adjust the hot start, as well as the pre-flow (PRE GAS) and post-flow (POST GAS) of the gas. Additionally, it is possible to set the rise time of the current (SLOPE UP), which is the time for the wire to reach the workpiece, as well as the fall time of the current (SLOPE DOWN) – this function allows for a smooth fading of the welding arc at the end of welding.

The SERVITIG T 220 HF allows for pulsed welding with a frequency range of 1Hz to 4500Hz and includes a spot welding function that excels in joining and welding thin materials. In 4-tact mode, there is also a Bi-level function, which avoids overheating of the welded material by allowing a rapid drop in the current value to a secondary current set in the menu, preventing overheating of the welded material. The user can then easily return to the main current with a quick click.
