The Oerlikon CITOSTEEL 420 is a multifunctional inverter device designed for professionals. It features a modular construction with a separate feeder. For MIG/MAG, available processes include: Standard MIG/MAG, synergic MIG/MAG, SpeedShortArcTM (fast short arc), High PenetrationSpeedTM (HPS), and Soldering.
The device has 80 pre-set synergic lines and can save up to 100 custom programs (with the DMU P500 feeder or advanced RC JOB remote control).
It also allows MMA welding with a wire feeder, and includes functions that facilitate the welding process: Hot Start for easy ignition and Arc Force for adjusting arc dynamics.
Safety during welding is ensured by the ability to lock welding parameters with a numerical code. When this function is activated, the operator can adjust parameters within a range of +/- 20% of their settings.
