The Zephyr FLIP-AIR LS 4500 auto-darkening welding helmet features a flip-up shield for grinding mode. The mask includes a fresh air ventilation function, adjustable in a 2-stage scale: 160 l/min and 200 l/min. Airflow moves from the top to the bottom of the helmet. The device has an electronic flow indicator, battery level indicator, and two alarms. Protective material elements are made from Kevlar. The standard battery provides 8 hours of work. An additional battery can be ordered, lasting about 14 hours. The airflow system can accommodate three filters, ensuring waterproof performance.
The FLIP-AIR LS 4500 auto-darkening helmet features a modern filter made with LightShade technology, providing a more realistic view of the weld pool with a broader color palette.
The product is equipped with 4 independent optical sensors and a magnetic sensor in "X" mode. The darkening level can be set from DIN 8-13 for arc welding or DIN 5-9 for various cutting processes. The helmet's viewing area is 97 x 60 mm. The light-to-dark switching time is 1-20,000s, and dark-to-light from 0.1s to 1s, with a 10-step digital scale. The filter is powered by CR2450 lithium batteries or alternatively by solar cells. The helmet also features an X MODE, useful for low-current welding and outdoor welding, reacting only to electromagnetic pulses through the magnetic sensor. The Infotrack system provides essential information such as current time, total welding time, temperature, and an alarm indicating low battery level of the LCD filter. The product can be used in temperatures from -5°C to +55°C.
