Powertec i250c Advanced is a semi-automatic welder designed for MIG/MAG and MMA welding. The device allows for operation with a maximum current of 250A in a 60% cycle. The device has a clear and easy-to-use 7” TFT display and two knobs that facilitate navigation on the control panel.
The Powertec series of devices is distinguished by intuitive operation and high user comfort. The robust and solid metal construction protects the equipment from damage and ensures product durability. The practical storage space for the welding torch makes it easy to place and keep the torch within reach at all times. The manufacturer has also included a handy tool shelf to help maintain an organized workspace. The 4-wheel cart with a low-mounted chassis facilitates easy transportation and allows for hassle-free loading of the gas cylinder. T
he Powertec i250c Advanced welder is a synergistic device. Thanks to this solution, after the user enters the output information (shielding gas, material and wire diameter), the device automatically selects the remaining welding parameters, such as: wire feed speed and voltage and current. The Powertec i250c Advanced is great for welding stainless steel, unalloyed steel, aluminum and MIG brazing.
The welder is equipped with a USB port, enabling quick software updates and the uploading and saving of new synergic lines. Users can easily view the set welding parameters through the ArcFX™ visualization feature.
The "Powertec series" devices feature an innovative wire feeder positioned at a 45-degree angle. This design helps avoid the risk of wire bending and kinking. The feeder is equipped with four drive rolls that ensure stable wire guidance and prevent slipping. The manufacturer has also included an inspection window for checking the wire level, and the internal LED lighting makes spool and roll changes easier.
The Powertec i250c Advanced inverter allows for MMA welding and the use of the following functions: hot start, Arc Force and arc dynamics (inductance).
The welder can also weld using the MIG/MAG method, with the following functions: 2-tact, 4-tact, spot welding, hot start, crater filling. Additionally, to optimize the welding process, the user has the following parameters at their disposal: free wire outlet (wire approach speed), arc dynamics (inductance), gas pre- and post-flow and arc length. The welder also allows you to save welding programs, so-called JOBs.
The device has a 3-year warranty.
